Originally launched as a customs vessel and once decommissioned totally refitted (including a new wheelhouse) for private use. Oceanna (then Killara) was designed by Herreshoff and built in Brisbane by Norman R. Wright and Sons. Powered by twin 8LXB Gardner engines, she has a cruise speed of 9.3 knots and is equipped with a bow thruster to assist with docking.
Purchased in 1998 by her current owners, they have loved using her around the Gippsland Lakes region and have upgraded and maintained her in great condition. With four cabins and accommodation for 14 people, she is great for cruising with family and friends, or using as an apartment on the water.
Two generators, a 4,500 litre fuel capacity and 4,000 litre water capacity, 24v/240v refrigeration, electric cooktop and convection microwave oven, a complete range of electronics, solar power and a one level saloon, galley and wheelhouse are just a few of the great features of this long range cruiser.
Available for private inspection in the Gippsland Lakes. Please contact Anchorline Yacht Brokers for further details or to arrange a viewing.
