DECEASED ESTATE – Now reduced
Fiddler VI – the last of the Fiddler Pilothouse Motor Cruisers built by Lindsay and Di Smith is now available for purchase through Anchorline Yacht Brokers.
Having taken her current owners north from Brisbane, up into Asia and back to Darwin, she has proven not only her excellent sea keeping ability but that she is a true long range cruiser, is economical to run and very well built.
Constructed in steel and two pack painted, Fiddler VI is low maintenance, strong and is equipped for expedition cruising. Powered by an economical 6LXB Gardner she cruises at 8 knots and has a consumption of approximately 15 litres per hour. If you’re thinking of remote locations, Fiddler VI will take you there!
With a 5.6m beam Fiddler VI has a big saloon, galley and wheehouse, spacious aft deck and full walk around side decks on the main level. Below deck, there is a full width master stateroom with a walk-in wardrobe, large bathroom and a guest’s island berth cabin with it’s own ensuite toilet. Aft of the master stateroom is a walk-in engine room and massive lazarette.
Anyone that has previously owned a Gardner knows just how reliable and extremely economical they are. This 6LXB has been serviced previously by Gary Bryant and Sons and purrs away quietly in a custom made sound shield. The engine room is also home to two generators, a desalinator, batteries, battery charger, inverter, work bench and a clothes dryer. A full size washing machine, top loading freezer, dive compressor and bottles are in the Lazarette.
Up on the roof is home to 4 solar panels, a 500kg davit and tender storage.
This impressive motor yacht is perfected suited to someone that is looking to head off over the horizon to far away anchorages. A big motor cruiser that isn’t complicated, is purposeful and well proportioned.
Fiddler VI is available exclusively through Anchorline Yacht Brokers and is available for a private inspection in Darwin. For further details please contact Garth or Andrew Fielding.
