Curtis Fielding has proudly SOLD & SETTLED the 2007 Fairway 36 Sedan, Pamela D.
This Fairway 36′ sedan is in her element cruising around Moreton Bay or running up and down the coast. One of the last Australian built Fairways, this 2007 model also features the rare island berth accommodation layout.
The perfect combination for economical, uncomplicated cruising with a single Perkins (shaft drive) engine, bow and stern thrusters, 12v refrigeration and solar panels. The Fairway 36 layout suits boating as a couple or spending time out on the water with the family. The one level saloon, galley and cockpit is ideal for entertaining or just relaxing and enjoying the view. Large opening windows and deck hatches give great ventilation, and her uncluttered, spacious cockpit leads straight out onto the swim platform through a transom gate. There are side curtains around the cockpit to keep out the weather, a deck shower for rinsing off after a swim and the tender stows neatly on weaver clips on the swim platform.
At the helm of the Fairway you’ll find a Furuno Navnet sounder, plotter and radar. There is also a digital depth sounder, VHF radio and autopilot. 360-degree visibility and the bow and stern thrusters make berthing a breeze. A full-length keel protects the propeller and rudder and gives comfort when cruising in shallow areas.
This Fairway 36 was set up for quiet boating. When at anchor the gas stove and oven, and 12v refrigeration mean that you don’t need to run the generator when cooking. The microwave also runs through a 3kw inverter. When the sun is shining the two solar panels on the roof are charging the batteries and if you have a run of rainy days the 12v generator will charge the batteries for you.
One of the great benefits of owning a Fairway is the peaceful nights at anchor. Not having a chine eliminates the slapping noise, giving you a good night’s sleep. With the more modern layout, you’ll find an island berth in the bow, two berths on the port side and a spacious bathroom opposite. This vessel is fitted with a 12v toilet and holding tank.
Opening the two large engine room hatches in the saloon floor you’ll love the spotless engine room. The 225hp Perkins with 1200 hours is easily serviced with access around all sides and from above. Aluminium fuel tanks sit either side of the engine and polypropylene water tanks aft of the fuel. The engine room also houses the hot water system. Access to the lazarette is via a hatch in the cockpit floor. This is a great spot to store your fenders, lines and equipment. The batteries are also housed aft of the engine room bulkhead (accessed via the lazarette).
Presented in excellent condition, this late model Fairway 36 is now available for inspection at the Gold Coast exclusively with our office. Please make contact with Garth, Andrew or Curtis Fielding for further details.
