Anchorline have proudly SOLD the Bert Ellis 48′ Motor Cruiser, Tidahapah.
Designed by two of the most well known boat builders in Brisbane (Fred Fleming and Bert Ellis) for her current owner, Tidahapah is a ketch rigged, spotted gum planked cruiser that is powered by a beautiful 6LXB Gardner. Since being launched in 1995, she has proven to be reliable, comfortable and a great sea boat. Her low fuel consumption gives a cruising range of approximately 1600 nautical miles (with 10% reserve) and her ketch rig and all furling sails add security with the ability to of getting home under sail.
With accommodation for six people, an on-deck toilet and shower and an ensuite in the aft cabin, Tidahapah is a very comfortable for a cruising couple, family or for boating with friends. She has an airy one level saloon and galley (also air conditioned), walk around side decks and a large covered aft deck for fishing or entertaining.
Tidahapah has been maintained in excellent condition from new and all shipwright work carried out by Regatta Marine (Doug Fielding) in recent times. In 2015 she underwent an extensive upgrade and refit, prior to heading south to Tasmania for the Australian Wooden Boat Festival. This refurbishment included a full hull check and re-paint, new bilge pumps ,a full suite of new Garmin electronics and radios, a wiring upgrade and a rigging check.
Equipped for spending extended periods of time onboard and set up for long range cruising, Tidahapah is ready to take you cruising north for winter. A well proven Moreton Bay cruiser with an extensive inventory, proven reliability and a practical and functional layout.
