55′ Hi-Star Yachtfisher
Anchorline has proudly SOLD the Hi-Star 55 Yachtfisher, Nice N Ezy II
The perfect home away from home or as a floating apartment, this Hi-Star 55 Yachtfisher has a fantastic spacious layout that is perfect for living aboard or for spending time out on the water with family and friends. Built by Hi-Star Marine (Taiwan) and delivered new into Australia in 1992, this flybridge motor yacht is powered by twin 550hp Detroit engines, she carries 2,000 litre of fuel and 1,000 litres of water, and is equipped with a 11kva generator and 2000 watt inverter. You’ve even got 3 x 180 watt solar panels to keep the batteries charges whilst your sitting at anchor.
Entering off the swim platform the yachtfisher cockpit is a great spot for fishing, cooking a BBQ or washing off after a swim. There is a set of transom davits to carry the tender and also a davit/crane to enable you to stowe an additional dinghy, kayaks, etc in the cockpit. It also provides easy access when coming and going from the tender and is covered to keep you out of the sun. From here is just a few step up into full width aft deck, a great spot for outdoor lounging and dining. When underway this area provides safe access straight up to the flybridge, out onto the side decks as well as access into the saloon. With a solid awning and clears surrounding all sides its a fantastic ‘all weather’ space, essentially another living room.
Heading forward into the saloon the light interior finishes, large opening windows and side deck access (via large door on the port side) makes this area great for watching television, reading a book or entertaining. During the still, warm summer days and nights, you can turn on the air conditioning which services all of the interior spaces. Just forward of the saloon is a large galley with a complete range of appliances. This area is flooded with light from the saloon and leads you past a single berth cabin / storage area and on into the guest’s island berth cabin with ensuite.
Aft of the saloon you’ll find a full width master stateroom that has loads of storage, great ventilation (opening windows around 3 sides) and an compact but functional ensuite with a basin, toilet and separate shower / small bath. Being aft in the vessel, the master stateroom is quiet to sleep in and is ideal if you’re seeking some peace away from any guest’s that are onboard.
This Hi-Star 55 has proven to be a great vessel to spend long periods of time onboard. She was the perfect escape for her owner during the pandemic and her layout was ideal for working from home. Due to a lifestyle change, she is now offered for sale and is ready for her next owners to go cruising in comfort.
An inspection is available in Brisbane by appointment. Please contact Garth, Andrew or Curtis Fielding for further details.
