43′ Fred Fleming Bridgedeck Motor Cruiser
A vessel that exudes timeless charm and modern sophistication. Anchorline is proud to present the 43′ Fred Fleming Bridgedeck Motor Cruiser ‘Caribou’ to the market.
Built in 1970 by the esteemed Fred Fleming in Brisbane, Queensland, ‘Caribou’ is a testament to craftsmanship and quality. Her hull features Turpentine carvel planking below the waterline and Crows Ash planking above, providing exceptional strength and durability.
As you step aboard, you’ll find that ‘Caribou’ accommodates 6-7 guests in unparalleled comfort. The forward cabin boasts four single berths, while the aft cabin features two cozy single berths on the port and starboard sides. Both cabins have private ensuites, ensuring privacy and convenience. The galley is conveniently situated aft of the saloon and ahead of the aft cabin and is equipped with a eutectic fridge and freezer, which can be driven off the auxiliary engine and starboard motor. There is an additional Waeco fridge/freezer and a 4 burner gas stove, oven, and grill that make preparing gourmet meals a delight.
Powered by twin 87hp 6LW Gardner engines, ‘Caribou’ offers a cruise speed of 8 knots and ensures reliable and efficient performance. Her substantial fuel capacity of 1200 liters and a freshwater capacity of 1400 liters allow for extended voyages. To make docking and tight maneuvers effortless, a Side-Power thruster was thoughtfully added during her most recent refit at the Gold Coast City Marina.
Caribou’s restoration that was completed by the capable hands at Regatta Marine over the past 6-12 months is nothing short of remarkable. This refit included a stunning paint job, providing her with a fresh, gleaming appearance. New Garmin electronics have been seamlessly integrated to ensure a seamless and safe voyage, while fresh upholstery and new mattresses guarantee your comfort and rest while aboard. One of the most noteworthy additions during the refit is the custom-made handrails that not only enhance safety but also lend a sense of refined elegance. Transom-mounted davits now accommodate a brand-new AB AL10 inflatable RIB and 20hp Mercury outboard.
Additional upgrades include: new fuel tanks and lines | new front hatch (forward cabin) | new batteries, inverter, and battery management system | new solar panels | new aft toilet (Tecma)
Berthed at the Gold Coast City Marina, ‘Caribou’ is now available for inspection by prior appointment. Please make contact with our office for further details.
