Anchorline is proud to exclusively present the meticulously refitted Standard 21′ Halvorsen, ‘Glenorie’.
Fresh off the back of a comprehensive 3 year restoration at the renowned Russell Marine facilities within The Boat Works on the Gold Coast, this classic beauty is ready to capture your heart. If you’re seeking timeless elegance, look no further.
Built by Halvorsen Boat Builders in Sydney, Australia, and launched in 1950, ‘Glenorie’ showcases a classic carvel-planked construction with epoxy-sheathed plywood decks finished in a flawless 2-pack paint job. Her interior exudes warmth and sophistication, featuring rich Queensland Maple timber and crisp white Toplac accents that create a harmonious atmosphere.
Under the hatches lies a newly installed 3YM30AE Yanmar engine, ensuring a smooth and efficient ride at a comfortable cruise speed of 7.5 knots while sipping a mere 5 litres of fuel per hour. The vessel boasts an 80 litre poly Atlas fuel tank thoughtfully positioned under the aft deck, along with a 120 litre water capacity for your convenience.
When it comes to navigation and communication, ‘Glenorie’ is equipped with modern essentials. A handheld VHF radio keeps you connected, while a 7″ Garmin GPS, plotter, and depth sounder, seamlessly integrated with CZone, allows you to navigate and control all pumps and lighting effortlessly.
Located on the starboard side, the galley offers a convenient setup within the forward companionway. The galley, which still features her original sink and tap, boasts Georg Jensen and vintage Mikasa crockery, elevating your dining experience.
The bow features two single bunks that effortlessly convert into a V-berth, providing cozy sleeping quarters. Opposite the galley, on the port side of the companionway, you’ll find the head, which is equipped with a 12V Tecma toilet.
Now as she floats proudly bearing her original name with all her former glory held, ‘Glenorie’ is now looking for a new home and is available for inspection by prior appointment at the Gold Coast. If you desire a piece of maritime history beautifully restored for modern-day voyages, this Halvorsen gem is your dream come true. Don’t miss the opportunity to make ‘Glenorie’ your own.
